Wild guess...they have moves in their respective games named after them (for e.g. - I think the picture of the cricketer is Vinoo Mankad - Mankaded)

1. Dick Fosbury - The Fosbury Flop (High Jump)

2. Vinoo Mankad - 'Mankading': disturbing the stumps at the bowler's end before delivering the ball (Cricket).

The guy in the black T-shirt is Dick Fosbury after whom the Fosbury Flop is named. I think the cricketer is Vinoo Mankad after whom we have the term Mankade-d. dunno abt the gentleman in suit. my guess for the connect is: all sportsmen who have terms named after them.
