Question Of The Day: 5th October, 2009

The only hint for today's question is that it has very little to nothing to do with Geography. Go ahead and connect.

Please leave your answers as comments. They are moderated and will be published along with the correct answer.

And the correct answer is:

Tintin (these are all places mentioned in the titles of Tintin comics)

Pictures from top left (clockwise):

America (Tintin In America)

Congo (Tintin In The Congo)

Soviet Union (Tintin in the Land Of Soviet)

Tibet (Tintin in Tibet)

and the picture in the centre was obviously the moon ( Destination Moon)

The connect is Tintin.

The places are USA, USSR, Congo and Tibet - which are places Tintin travelled to in different books.

TINTIN in (clockwise) :1) America 2) the Congo 3) Land of the Soviets 4) Tibet; with the moon in the center refering to the lunar adventures.
