Answer - "Saare jahaan se achcha Hindustan Hamaara"
1). Poet Iqbal (wrote the poem)
2). Indira Gandhi with Mahatma Gandhi.
3). Rakesh Sharma. 1st Indian in space.
When Indira Gandhi asked Rakesh Sharma as to how India looked from outer space, he replied - ""Saare jahaan se achcha Hindustan Hamaara"
Is this question still open?
Indira Gandhi's famous question to Rakesh Sharma: "antariksh se bharat kaisa nazar aata hai aapko?"
Sharma: bina kisi jhijhak ke saath kah sakta hoon "saare jahan se accha"
The gentleman in b/w: Mohammad Iqbal
The first photo is of Mohd. Iqbal....and Thats Indira gandhi in the third one along with Mahatma Gandhi....perhaps the connection is saare jahan se achha.....Perhaps the 2nd photo is of Rakesh Sharma....I put it in this way.....
1. Iqbal composed the song.
2. that's Rakesh Sharma, who when asked by Indira Gandhi, in his space flight, how India appeared from space, he replied---- Saare jahan se accha...
I think the first photo is of Mohd. Iqbal. That's probably
Indira Gandhi in the third along with Bapu. Here's my
explanation---
1. Iqbal composed it.
3. I recall Indira gandhi asking Rakesh Sharma on his space flight
that how did India appear to him from space. he replied--"Saare jahan
se accha..."
2. So, probably that's an old Rakesh Sharma posing in the 2nd photograph.....
